44 YEARS BIOMASS EVELOUTION INTO NEW GENERATION
TB CONSULTING (TBC) formerly Applied Biomass Technicians (ABT)
The objectives are the same and Thor Bailey presently is operating as an independent consultant. The field of experience is sustainability and good stewardship of the environment from individual family farmers to corporate farming organizations has been building for a long time and will continue for the foreseeable future. No agricultural activity impacts air and water quality as much as disposal of waste residues. TBC is continuing to support innovative methods for utilizing biomass residues. This includes recycling of biomass, converting waste to energy, and converting waste products to valuable soil amendments.
Drive private sector pragmatic change & seed funding in favor of Community Supported Agriculture through the Risk Management Fund (RMF)
Small Scale Specialized Biomass Handing Equipment:
Closed Loop Orchard Pruning Management System
Compost will be produced from agricultural waste products including but not limited to walnut & almond shells, chipped orchard pruning, and clean urban biomass sources.
Biochar compost blends. Blends will be developed using varying amounts of char with different concentrations of compost tea, wood vinegar, and both organic and non-organic fertilizers. Blends could also contain perlite, diatomaceous earth, worm castings, and humus.
Air emissions, especially "methane" monitoring and reduction through biochar production and incorporation into soil enhancement programs through RegenX.
Small scale ABC works closely with farmers, agricultural processors, private firms involved with orchard removal and agricultural waste disposal.
The UCANR Cooperative Extension and Community based nonprofit groups are aligned with ABC objectives for the management of biomass residue.
Coordinating feedstock processing and transportation will be provided as a service to various companies that use that material for energy, soil amendments, and other value-added products.
